Package: pgf
Version: 1.18-1
Severity: important
Hi
apparently pgf makes the dhelp update script (/etc/cron.weekly/dhelp) loop.
The looping process is an invocation of gs with the following commandline
(according to /proc/<pid>):
gs-r72-dNODISPLAY-dFIXEDMEDIA-dDELAYBIND-dWRITESYSTEMDICT-q-dNOPAUSE-dSAFER/tmp/ps2tO738Lf--/var/tmp/pgfmanual.pdfvanadium
I have /etc/alternatives/gs -> /usr/bin/gs-esp
The version of gs-esp is 8.15.3.dfsg.1-1.
Changing gs to gs-gpl solves the problem but then running
/etc/cron.weekly/dhelp yields the follwoing message:
**** File has circular references in resource dictionaries.
(without indication in which file the error occured).

it seems we don't have a /usr/bin/gs-esp any longer in the distro, not
even in oldstable. Yes, this bug can be closed.
