Package: emacs21
Version: 21.1-2
Severity: wishlist
In emacs20, the Home key runs the command beginning-of-buffer, but in
emacs21 this apparently changed to run the command beginning-of-line.
A similar thing happens for the End key.
Would be possible to make Home and End keys to behave as before by default?
Or at least: Would be possible to document this change somewhere? It's
not in changelog.Debian.gz or changelog.gz, and there is not anything
in /usr/share/doc explaining how to make Home and End keys to behave
as before.
(After several years using Home and End for the beginning and end
of buffer I find this new behaviour quite annoying).
Thanks.

These bindings are now more than 10 years old and so obviously are not going to
changed.
It is easy to customize the keys to do whatever you prefer.
