To reinstall all the packages which localepurge has been taking care of before, you can use the following command:

apt-get -u --reinstall --fix-mising install $(dpkg -S LC_MESSAGES | cut -d: -f1 | tr ', ' '\n' | sort -u)

I have --fix-mising and the correct way is --fix-missing.

Hi,

Thanks for reporting.

The particular typo has been fixed in a more recent version of
localepurge. I am unsure of the exact version fixing it, but it is
definitely fixed in 0.7.3.2 - accordingly I am closing the bug now[1].

Based on your report, you seem to be using stable. I am afraid that I
will not be uploading a new version to stable "just" for a typo-fix. So
unless another bug that warrants a stable upload comes around, this bug
will remain open in stable.

[1] The Debian bug tracker keeps track of versioning and will notice
that the bug is unfixed in stable.
