Package: ipmitool
Version: 1.8.14-2
Severity: normal

Thanks for providing systemd support in ipmitool.

On my server, I want to use ipmitool from time to time, but not run the
ipmievd service. Further, I don’t even want to load the ipmi kernel
modules anymore after I had an issue where the whole machine was slow
(and busy-looping) in kipmid0.

While trying to disable loading of the relevant modules I noticed that
ipmitool places ipmievd.conf in /etc/modules-load.d.

This file needs to go to /usr/lib/modules-load.d/ instead so that the
administrator can symlink /etc/modules-load.d/ipmievd.conf to /dev/null,
effectively masking the file. See also modules-load.d(5)
