Upstream wxPython doesn't support python3, so it's not feasible for us to. They seem to be working on a complete rewrite ("phoenix") which should provide python3 support, but until that's actually ready, you're likely to be disappointed I'm afraid. Also, we're aiming to get rid of wxwidgets2.8 for jessie, so anything beyond fixing RC bugs is unlikely to happen at this point anyway. Cheers, Olly
