Package: mount
Version: 2.11h
Quoting from mount(8), iso9660 section:
mode=value For non-Rock Ridge volumes, give all files the indicated
mode. (Default:
read permission for everybody.)
So why all files in non-RockRidge CDs are considered as executable
(mode=0555)?
I know you can personalize the mode in /etc/fstab, but I think a better
default would be
mode=0444 (as stated in mount(8)).
RockRidge volumes whouldn't be affected.
Hi and thanks,
