Package: util-linux

File: cfdisk

Hello,

When I am trying to start cfdisk on my Etch system, it complains
(apparently without a reason) about an overlapping partition. The only
thing I can see odd is the fact that the partition is "out of order" -
being the eleventh partition, but being placed the third (as position)
on the disk.

fdisk doesn't complain at all.

Here is cfdisk's message:
FATAL ERROR: Bad logical partition 11: enlarged logical partitions overlap

Here is the layout:

Version: 2.25-1

Hello!

The new util-linux v2.25 contains a completely rewritten cfdisk program
which is now based on the new (lib)fdisk code. This means cfdisk should
now work equally well as the new fdisk and hopefully the reported bug
should be gone.
If you still see the problem you originally reported with the new version
then please do reopen the bug report and provide some additional information
about it.

Regards,
Andreas Henriksson
