Package: util-linux
Severity: wishlist
Version: 2.11z-4
cfdisk is the default partitioning tool used with debian-installer, but
contains the rather x86-centric limitation of only working with DOS
partitions. Since it's also the /nicest/ of the available partitioning
tools in Debian, it would be nice if it would support other partition
table types such as BSD disklabels (the type used by the greatest number
of other architectures).

Hello!
The new util-linux v2.25 contains a completely rewritten cfdisk program
which is now based on the new (lib)fdisk code. This means cfdisk should
now work equally well as the new fdisk and hopefully the reported bug
should be gone.
If you still see the problem you originally reported with the new version
then please do reopen the bug report and provide some additional information
about it.
Regards,
Andreas Henriksson
