Package: xpra
Version: 0.9.4+dfsg-1
Severity: wishlist

My laptop is usually connected to at least two xpra servers. If the
network connection is bad I frequently see xpra drawing spinners over
all windows. This is a good indicator but I think it uses bit too much
CPU time causing my laptop fan to accelerate when the 3G connection
drops:

Upstream treat this as "wontfix" hence I'm closing this bug here as there is
nothing for maintainer left to do.

Personally I don't like spinners because they hide last known window contents
which I'd still like to see (possibly greyed or darkened) because spinners
often interrupt me during reading. Nevertheless if you have any comments
please direct them to corresponding upstream ticket:

    http://xpra.org/trac/ticket/353

Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you
have further comments please address them to [email protected],
and the maintainer will reopen the bug report if appropriate.
