Package: vpnc
Version: 0.5.1r334-1
Severity: normal
vpnc can read configuration data from a text file, e.g. /etc/vpnc.conf.
When an option value in such a config file is followed by trailing space
characters, vpnc considers
these part of the value and will exit with an error message like
vpnc-connect: IKE DH Group "dh2 " unsupported
In the aforementioned case, vpnc rejected the unknown parameter value "dh2
", which in
reality was meant to be just "dh2".
As configuration files will often be edited by users manually, this case is
likely to happen, and
the solution may be hard to find.
