Upstream version 6.1.0 is out as we discussed on irc ; I have tried to
update the git repository locally and didn't see any problem with the
new version when I built the linbox, eclib and flint packages (apt-cache
rdepends pointed them to me).
I don't dare pushing my changes to the alioth repository as the git
history doesn't look that good ; that's why I prefer submitting a
wishlist bug.
