Hello Ross,
When I run meld I get a segfault immediately. I tracked it down (ok,
not that deep) to this line of /usr/bin/meld:
import meldapp
Tried running with python2.4:
$ python2.4 /usr/bin/meld
And it works. Notice I'm using experimental versions of most python
gnome/gtk stuff. I'll try to get some more information as soon as I
have some time available.

experimental. Thus, closing.
