Package: src:adns
Version: 1.4-2
Severity: wishlist

Dear maintainer,

dns-root-data package that contains up-to-date root.hints and DNSSEC
root key has become available in Debian.

Please make sure that your package uses the data available from this
package, so we have only one place to update root zone hints,
anchor/key.

If you want automatic notification when the files are updated please
install dpkg trigger listening for these files:

/usr/share/dns/root.ds
/usr/share/dns/root.hints
/usr/share/dns/root.key

Cheers,
Ondrej

Hi,

well, it has the copy of the root hints, but only in the tests, so I
concur and I am closing the bug.

$ grep -rl -i root-servers.net .
./regress/case-rootqueryall-as.out
./regress/case-rootqueryall.out
./regress/case-rootquery.out
