Dear Maintainer,
I installed aisleriot on a wheezy system using a KDE4 desktop (so most of
Gnome system was not installed). I found that that the game played fine
per se,
but the help system - which includes the rules for all the unfamiliar
games included in the package - was not working. That makes most of the
games in the package difficult to use or unplayable unless one seeks
out the info on the web.
I was able to fix the problem by installing the gnome-user-guide
package. That package is fairly large, but I did not take time to
investigate whether some subset of it would have sufficed.
