Hi,
First of all, thanks for taking care of libtheora in Debian!
What do you think about the attached trivial patch that removes the
build dependency on graphviz? As far as I could see, the libtheora
build does not really check for or use any of the graphviz tools at all;
it seems that the packages built with and without the graphviz
dependency are identical.
This patch was extracted from my Git repository at
https://gitorious.org/roam-debian-bootstrap/libtheora-debian/commits/roam-drop-graphviz
I originally started working on this as part of the "Bootstrappable
Debian" Google Summer of Code project, as some of our tools seemed to
indicate the presence of a circular build dependency that could be
removed if src:libtheora stopped build-depending on graphviz, but
right now this is not part of the Feedback Arc Set. Still, dropping
an unused build dependency looks like a welcome simplification to me :)
