Hi John,
Thanks for your bug report. Sorry for this delayed reply.
The currently packaged version is 1.0.7. So the bug you submitted has
been fixed.
You may have noticed that version 1.0.8 is available now. However,
this version does not include any changes relevant for fizsh on linux
(relative to version 1.0.7). Therefore I will not update the debian
package from version 1.0.7 to version 1.0.8.
