Package: module-init-tools
Version: 3.2-pre9-4
Severity: normal

I still use kernel 2.4.27. I wanted to try 2.6 so installed it an also
module-init-tools. After some 2.6 testing I decided to remove it and
then also m-i-t. Unfortunately there were some errors during removing:

[/home/xargos]# LC_ALL=C dpkg -r module-init-tools
(Reading database ... 96698 files and directories currently installed.)
Removing module-init-tools ...
dpkg-divert: rename involves overwriting `/sbin/kallsyms' with
  different file `/sbin/kallsyms.modutils', not allowed
dpkg: error processing module-init-tools (--remove):
subprocess post-removal script returned error exit status 2
Errors were encountered while processing:
 module-init-tools

So its uninstallable. My workaround was removing manually two symlinks:
/sbin/kallsyms and /sbin/ksyms before removing m-i-t.
