Package: kcheckgmail
Version: 0.5.4-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Kcheckgmail no longer show my unread message count in the taskbar icon.
It was working up until recently, but today it seems to have broken. I
launched the program from the command line so that I could capture the
output, and it reports back (in part):
kcheckgmail: [void GMail::checkGMail()] Starting check...
kcheckgmail: [void GMail::checkGMail()] GET:
https://gmail.google.com/gmail?search=inbox&as_subset=unread&view=tl&start=0
QGArray::find: Index 0 out of range
kcheckgmail: [void GMail::slotCheckResult(KIO::Job*)] Check finished.
kcheckgmail: [void GMailParser::parse(const QString&)] oldNewCount=0
kcheckgmail: [void GMailParser::parseVersion(const QString&)]
Version=ce84c17653436cf3,cb6e092c102a1489,15
kcheckgmail: [void GMailParser::parseInvite(const QString&)] Invites=100
kcheckgmail: [void GMailParser::parseDefaultSummary(const QString&)]
kcheckgmail: inbox=1
So it looks like it is seeing one new message internally, but the icon no
longer changes to indicate that.
I'm marking this as grave, since it renders the package unusable for me
and, I assume, for every other user. If you find that this bug is somehow
specific to my configuration or user, please feel-free to downgrade it to
"normal".
Thanks,
Paul.
