Package: mldonkey-server
Version: 2.6.4-1
Severity: important
This bug is known and corrected in MLdonkey release 2.6.7.
The changelog sais:
4555: EDK: Send emule_version on server login to prevent
"Your client is too old" message (Knocker)
Indeed most servers reply with this message, which causes the my
provider's router IP to get blacklisted after some dozens of automatic
connection attempts:
"ERROR : Connection refused. Your IP is currently blacklisted"
After:
"ERROR : Your edonkey client is too old, please update it"

Hello,
As you have state this in your bug report the best way to get rid of
this bug is to use a version of mldonkey which is higher than 2.6.7. The
latest upload of mldonkey was the version 2.7.0, so mldonkey should not
present this kind of behavior anymore.
Kind regard
Sylvain Le Gall
