The SPARQLES survey showed that a Debian and librdf-trine-perl-based
implementation (maintained by yours truly) of the SPARQL protocol
failed tests for ASK queries:

Upstream has established that this is their fault and a bug in
librdf-trine-perl, which has existed for a long time, and is still
present in the latest version. As it is a violation of the
specification, it is quite severe, but the survey also has a decent
indication of the actual severity, there are many features that
actually work.
Upstream is likely to release a fix shortly, as it should be trivial
to fix. I hope this will be considered for Jessie, as it would be
doing the users disservice if the distribution was shipped with a
known bug with a straightforward fix.
