Hello,

Configuring to connect to gtalk, with mechanism "Old Password", server
talk.google.com and port 443, through http proxy fails with a
Handshake Error (it does not ask for the password)

Downgrading to 2.10.10-1 (libpurbpl* and pidgin*) make this config work again.

Have you any hint about this issue ?

Thank you very much

Fix is here: https://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/16473

If you need to use old-style SSL with 2.10.11, you must configure the
'NSS preferences' plugin and enable again the 'TLS_RSA_WITH_RC4_128
(0x0005)' cipher suite.

This is probably insecure and you should migrate to a more recent setup.
