Package: xsane
Version: 0.995-1
Severity: minor
$ rm -r .sane; xsane
Now directly proceed to scan by hitting the scan button.
You will see that the "300" dpi is not what is used, even though that
is what the user sees.
Instead he must first use the mouse to choose 300 dpi, or else it
scans at much lower resolution:
$ grep -a res out.pnm
# resolution_x = 50.0
# resolution_y = 50.0
Yes the menu looks the same: "300 dpi", but the user has to first use
the mouse to choose it.
