Severity: wishlist
Scan a letter at 150 pixel resolution, lineart, to file.png. Then in
the viewer, choose scale to 50%. Indeed the file size changes from
25kb to 5kb, but the result saved on disk is very ugly compared to
what one sees in the viewer. One cannot read a single word anymore.
