Just upgraded a Supermicro server (X9SCM-F motherboard) from Squeeze
to Wheezy. And now the IPMI serial console no longer work as it used
to.
It hangs like this:

Great, thanks for confirming. I've marked the bug as closed in the
current Jessie version (4.4.1-6) even though I suspect it was fixed
before then.
