Selecting more than one mail message, and then
hitting File->Save As ->File just causes the menu
to disappear, and has no effect.
This is a particular instance of a serious
useability problem: there seems to be no way
to export a whole folder full of mail.
Mail is valuable, and I (and many other people)
will be reluctant to get themselves trapped
into a particular application.
Besides, without export, one can't archive mail,
one can't search mail,
one can't run hypermail on a folder.
