Package: ipxe-qemu
Version: 1.0.0+git-20120202.f6840ba-3
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

We are working on getting multiarch metadata correct throught the Debian
archive. This package (and/or the unstable version) needs to be marked
'Multi-Arch: foreign' for dependencies and build-depencies to work correctly in
all cases, including:

  - Any package 'X' build-depending on this package cannot be cross-built
because apt-get build-dep -a<arch> cannot satisfy X's build-dependencies.
  - Any non-native architecture version of package 'X' depending on this
package cannot be installed because apt-get install expects to find a version
of ipxe-qemu for the non-native architecture.

The solution is to add the following to this packages's control file, to
indicate that this package should be allowed to satisfy the dependencies of a
package of another architecture than its own:

    Multi-Arch: foreign

  Please see http://wiki.debian.org/Multiarch/CrossDependencies and
https://wiki.debian.org/Multiarch/Implementation for further explanation.

  Thank you!
