Package: coreutils
Version: 5.2.1-2
After upgrading from version 5.0-5 to 5.2.1-2 I found the
`cp' command accompanied by the `-p' option not to preserve
the timestamps anymore.
Example:
$ touch src
$ cp -p src dst
$ ls -l
total 0
-rw------- 1 xxxxxx xxxxxx 0 Jul 19 03:25 src
-rw------- 1 xxxxxx xxxxxx 0 Jan 1 1970 dst
$
Versions of packages on which `coreutils' depends:
libacl1: 2.2.23-1
libattr1: 2.4.16-1
libc6: own build
kernel-image-2.6.7-1-686: 2.6.7-2
