I got this error when diaspora assets are pre-compiled
rake aborted!
NoMethodError: undefined method `specificity' for [:not(.entypo)]:Array
(in /usr/share/diaspora/app/assets/stylesheets/application.scss)
on a search, many people reported the same issue [1] and it is fixed in
3.4.7 [2]. Please upload 3.4.13 in experimental to unstable. 3.4.13 is
tested to work as well.

...which means this bug was fixed since 3.4.8-1 packaging release (which
is not yet in unstable, so agreed not fixed there).
