Package: guake
Version: 0.5.0-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

disclaimer: i love guake. however, i also use more traditional (windowed)
xterms, for separate tasks.

since 0.5.0-1, guake provides an alternative for the x-terminal-emulator.
great.

unfortunately the priority assigned is rather high (50), actually higher than
any other terminal installed on my system:

 /usr/bin/Eterm 10
 /usr/bin/koi8rxterm 20
 /usr/bin/uxterm 20
 /usr/bin/xterm 20
 /usr/bin/lxterm 30
 /usr/bin/gnome-terminal.wrapper 40
 /usr/bin/konsole 40
 /usr/bin/lxterminal 40
 /usr/bin/xfce4-terminal.wrapper 40
 /usr/bin/guake 50

given that guake has the highest priority of 10 x-terminal-emulators, this
practically enforces guake as *the* x-terminal-emulator when using the defaults.

i think this is problematic insofar, as guake has a rather non-standard
behaviour, as compared with other xterms:
- most of the time, guake will be hidden away
- it will not spawn *another* xterm when already running.

this leads to the (rather unexpected) behaviour, that starting the xterm (e.g.
via the menu, or via a panel) will be silently ignored.

following the principle of least suprise, the default should be to not
aggressively promote guake as the default x-terminal-emulator, by lowering it's
alternative priority.

thanks for your consideration.
