Package: emacs21-common
Version: 21.3+1-8
Severity: normal

This bug can be reproduced at least this way: Download the latest of
those tarballs and unpack it. Those tar-balls have different versions
of my Master's Thesis:

http://iki.fi/juhtolv/gradu/

Load a file called sosl70c.tex . Choose this menuentry: Ref -> parse
crossref -> Entire document .

Load files sosl70c.bib and sosl70c.lahteet.tex. Choose that buffer
that has file sosl70c.lahteet.tex. Put cursor over this:

\citephistl{Ilta-Sanomat96:ihanaa,Anna96:_ruotsin}

Choose this menuentry: Ref -> View Crossref

It gives this errormessage:

reftex-view-crossref: Not on a crossref macro argument

Here are relevant lines from sosl70c.tex that loads and configures
multibib:

---- Clip here ----
\usepackage{multibib}

\newcites{books}{Kirjallisuus}
\newcites{asiak}{Asiakirjat ja täysistuntokeskustelut}
\newcites{histl}{Historialliset lehtikirjoitukset}
\newcites{keskl}{Keskustelevat lehtikirjoitukset}
\newcites{internet}{Internet-dokumentit}

LaTeX-package is not yet included in that version of teTeX that is
included in Debian, but Thomas Esser just told me, he has added it to
teTeX 3.0. You may need to download multibib from CTAN.

This bug has been reported against an ancient version of emacs (emacs21,
emacs22) that is no longer supported. It is assumed to be fixed (or no
longer relevant) in newer releases and therefore I'm closing this report
now. If the problem is still reproducible in the current version
(emacs24), feel free to provide more information and reopen this bug report.

Andreas
