Package: coreutils
Version: 5.0.91-2
Severity: minor
File: /bin/ls
In an UTF-8 locale, 'ls' uses the number of bytes in a file name
instead of the number of printing characters to calculate filename
length.
That causes the multicolumn display options to get misaligned.

I can't reproduce this either and I have a UTF locale.
If someone can reproduce this, please reopen the report and
provide a recipe.
