Package: coreutils
Version: 5.0.91-2
Severity: minor
File: /bin/echo

The info page for echo links to the Common Options page, which suggests
that it should support "--" to mark the end of the option list; it does
not.

While it might be nice to have support for "--" in echo, in the interests
of not breaking things, I think the info page for echo should be updated
to reflect the absence of support.

The program accepts the following options. Also see *Note Common
options::. Options must precede operands, and the normally-special
argument `--' has no special meaning and is treated like any other
STRING.
