Package: empathy
Version: 3.12.7-1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
I'm trying to use empathy on Debian 8.
When I try to add an account, I have the following question "What kind of chat
account do you have?" with an empty combobox. I just can't do nothing.
A friend of mine which is a GNOME developer said that mixing GNOME application
versions may lead to errors. In Debian 8 we have GNOME 3.14 but some
applications are still deprecated (evolution is 3.12, empathy too).
Please see attached, the screenshot.

Here's your problem:

You don't seem to have any telepathy CM installed, probably because you
configured apt to not install recommended packages. Install some CMs (e.g.
telepathy-gabble for XMPP/Jabber support) to fix this.
Cheers,
Emilio
