Prosody often fails to establish link to other servers with the following

Debug shows that the problem is in resolving CNAME DNS records. This issue is
already reported upstream (see [1]) and fixed (see [2]). Though, both 0.9.7
and 0.9.8 suffer from it.
I think we should fix it for both sid and jessie (through the proposed updates
procedure). The fix proposed upstream works well for me (i've patched the
0.9.7-2).
