Package: gvfs-daemons
Version: 1.24.1-2+b1
Purging this package does not stop its daemon.

Please note that gvfs-daemons does *not* have any /system/ daemons.
The package did not start any process at installation and will thus
not stop it on removal/purge either.
It's absolutely normal that package uninstall does *not* slay processes
started by the user.
cf. if you run 'watch date' then while doing so you uninstall the procps
package, it will not kill your watch process.

Andreas Henriksson
