When I add the following add to /etc/inetd.conf:
ftp stream tcp nowait root /sbin/ftpd ftpd
ftp doesn't work. All ftp clients connect but there is silence from the
other site. There are no ftpd process in the server, neither a message
in /var/log/syslog.
I have similar line in /etc/inetd.conf for telnetd and it works fine.
ftpd -D works.
