Package: debhelper
Severity: wishlist
thanks
Howdy, Debhelpers,
Currently, some node packages have some dh_auto_configure|auto_build
overrides that look like:
| override_dh_auto_configure:
| node-waf configure
|
| override_dh_auto_build:
| node-waf build
It'd be nice for debhelper to support node-waf OTB.
Thanks!
Paul

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the suggestion.
At this time, there are only two packages using node-way in their
d/rules and both of them appear to be using cdbs[1]. I am not convinced
this is sufficient for introducing a new dh build system to be
maintained in debhelper.
However, feel free to prototype it in a separate dh-node-waf package
(or so). Should the build system gain a lot of traction, we can always
import the new build tool into debhelper itself at that time.
Thanks,
~Niels
