Hi,
I am sorry it took so long to reply to this bug report. Today the
latest version of Midori (0.5.11-1) entered unstable, and I gave it a
try with your reproducer. The problem seems solved to me: the photo
gallery shows up.
I am closing this bug report now, but please feel free to reopen it if
you still experience the issue.
