Package: debian-handbook
Version: 6.0+20120509
Severity: wishlist

Hi Raphaël,
thanks a lot to you and Roland for releasing this book under the DFSG-free
terms: GNU GPL v2 or later (I know it's dual-licensed under CC-by-ss-v3.0 too,
but I don't especially care...)!

Thank you for also packaging it for inclusion in Debian!

As far as I can see, the package only includes the HTML version of the book.
It would be nice, if you could also package the PDF version, possibly
by splitting the package into two distinct binary packages
(debian-handbook-html and debian-handbook-pdf).

I hope you consider this suggestion as a good idea.

Bye and thanks for your time!

We have started shipping translations and I do not intend to ship PDF
files as it would take too much space. The current compromise of hosting
PDF/EPUB files on debian-handbook.info and having HTML version in the
package and on debian.org seems like a good situation.

Cheers,
