I tried downloading zip with watch file in python-zope.browserpage package and it nicely repackage zip file. As for the odd #24 message, I think this is a user miss use issue. Why use this. I have no idea. filenamemangle=s/.+\/v?(\d\S*)\.tar\.gz/<project>-$1\.tar\.gz/ ^^^^^^^ You are downloading and maching zip file.
