The gparted GUI always hangs when gparted is doing some particular
operations. If the screensaver/screenlock runs at this point,
afterwards gparted windows will be gray, giving user the appearance
that gparted has crashed. This bug is caused by long lasting
(potentially hours) blocking IO operations being done on the GUI
thread.
