The maintainer (jenner) seems MIA (even if not declered officially by
the mia team), nobody in the DPMT stepped up maintaining it in the last
10 years, and packaging a new upstream release that is out since at
least 2009.

I think that's a good enough reason to not remove it for now.  It's not like 
it's buggy or otherwise problematic at the moment.
