Package: exaile
Version: 0.2.11.1+debian-2
Severity: important
Both automatic and manual fetching of album cover art fails. No album
covers are fetched from the Amazon. Exaile also fails to find any covers
when searching.
Steps to reproduce this bug
1) Select from Exaile menu: Tools -> Album Art Colector
2) Album Art window opens. Click the Start button on bottom of the
window.
Exaile starts to fetch album covers, atleast it looks like that. But
it fetch nothing. After the operation is finished there is
nothing in the folder ./exaile/covers
Fetched album covers should be there but that folder is still empty.
If you click Start -button again, then Exaile says that all covers have
been fetched, which is not true.
If you look at the Exaile Action log, you can see that fetch of every
cover failed. You can check it by selecting from the Exaile menu:
View -> Action log
For every fetched album action log has lines like these:
[02:33:05] cover thread started
[02:33:05] Invalid response received: 410
You can also open Album Art -window and try to fetch album covers one by
one, but it fails too. If you try to search for the cover then nothing
is found.
Exaile also can't fetch album covers automatically even if automatic
fetch is enabled in the Exaile preferences.
