--- Begin Message ---Package: exaile Version: 3.3.0-1 Severity: normal I reported a bug (#672574) on exaile/0.3.2.2-2 with title : exaile: Does not read by itself an ogg file after a mp3 file The bug is easily reproducible : make a playlist with one mp3 file and others ogg files. Play the only mp3 file ; you can move to nearly end of time line but don't click for next track. When exaile changes to ogg file, playback stops. As suggested the bug was fixed in version 3.3.0-1, thus I tested it. Among some bugs : * "On screen display" does not close ; * filtering shows filtered files but plays whole playlist ; * Asking for properties of a file blocks the gui a long time (proportionnal to playlist length ?) but the music continues playing ; I must stay the bug I reported still exists, but in a different way. Now, ogg files do play after a mp3 file, but after 9 seconds of silent, and play after 9 seconds from the beginning of the song. The only way I found to minimise the bug was to set the option at "Edit -> Preferences -> Playback -> Audio Sink" to ALSA, and not to automatic or GNOME. Then the file plays well, except that the first second is repeated. launching exaile with debug info does not give relevant informations, only things like that : File "/usr/lib/exaile/xl/event.py", line 262, in emit event.data, *cb.args, **cb.kwargs) File "/usr/share/exaile/plugins/osd/__init__.py", line 365, in on_playback_player_end self.__options['display_duration'], self.hide)) TypeError: integer argument expected, got float File "/usr/lib/exaile/xl/event.py", line 262, in emit event.data, *cb.args, **cb.kwargs) File "/usr/share/exaile/plugins/osd/__init__.py", line 340, in on_playback_track_start self.__options['display_duration'], self.hide)) TypeError: integer argument expected, got float File "/usr/share/exaile/plugins/osd/__init__.py", line 323, in do_leave_notify_event self.__options['display_duration'], self.hide)) TypeError: integer argument expected, got float -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'testing-proposed-updates'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages exaile depends on: ii gstreamer0.10-plugins-good 0.10.31-3 ii librsvg2-common 2.36.1-1 ii python 2.7.3~rc2-1 ii python-dbus 1.1.1-1 ii python-gobject 3.2.2-1 ii python-gst0.10 0.10.22-3 ii python-gtk2 2.24.0-3 ii python-mutagen 1.20-1 Versions of packages exaile recommends: ii gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg 1:0.10.13-dmo1 ii python-cddb 1.4-5.1+b3 ii python-mmkeys 1.6.2.1-5 ii python-notify 0.1.1-3 Versions of packages exaile suggests: pn exaile-plugin-contextinfo <none> pn exaile-plugin-ipod <none> pn exaile-plugin-moodbar <none> pn exfalso <none> ii gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad 0.10.23-7 ii gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly 0.10.19-2+b2 pn ipython <none> pn notify-osd <none> pn python-avahi <none> ii python-beautifulsoup 3.2.1-1 ii python-eggtrayicon 2.25.3-12 ii python-pymtp 0.0.4-4 ii streamripper 1.64.6-1 -- no debconf information
