Package: openvpn
Version: 2.3.4-5+deb8u1
In file /etc/init.d/openvpn on line 86 as part of the start-stop-daemon
call that starts the openvpn server, variable $OPTARGS is used to pass
arguments to the openvpn daemon.
$OPTARGS is not set anywhere in the script.
I recommend that a line be inserted above this one to the following effect:
OPTARGS="--config "$CONFIG_DIR/$NAME.conf
Even with this fix, there is a lot of anomalous behavior in my openVPN/TLS
setup, the root cause of which I am certain lies in this script. Not sure
of the exact cause.
I am using Debian GNU/Linux 8 (jessie)
Thanks for all your hard work!
