Package: liferea
Version: 1.0-1
Severity: important
I have been using Liferea for several months with no problem sbut the
last few days it has begun somehow reloading my old feeds and marking
all of the old entries as unread. When I view the feed I see two copies
of every article now, the old (read) one and a new unread copy. This is
needless to say very annoying. It seems this is mostly happening with
LifeJournal feeds, so perhaps they have changed something which is
confusing Liferea and causing it to reload the feed with old entries
thinking they are new, I don't know. I now am having to go through my
LJ feeds (5 so far) and manually check that I've read the most recent
entries before marking the whole feed as read, and having two
copies of each one stored in the cache. I'm not sure how to debug this
further, please let me know what information I can provide.
The LJ feeds this has occured on are http-authenticated feeds like this:
http://www.livejournal.com/users/xxx/data/rss?auth=digest
Thanks,
Ryan

Closing this bug since this is not properly a bug.
