Hi,

during a test with piuparts I noticed your package left unowned files on
the system after purge, which is a violation of policy 6.8 (or 10.8):

https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-maintainerscripts.html#s-removedetails

Filing this as important as having a piuparts clean archive is a release
goal since lenny.

>From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...):

0m40.1s ERROR: FAIL: Package purging left files on system:
  /boot/efi/ not owned
  /boot/efi/EFI/ not owned
  /boot/efi/EFI/fw/ not owned
  /var/cache/fwupdate/ owned by: fwupdate
  /var/cache/fwupdate/done not owned

I'm not exactly sure how the hierarchy under /boot/efi/
should be handled, but the stamp file has to be cleaned up.

cheers,

Andreas

 .
   * Correct the location of the signed binaries
   * Remove immutable attribute in cleanup script due to a kernel behavioral
     change in ed8b0de5.
   * Correct one more path related to signed script
   * If EFI variables aren't available when the postinst runs, don't mistakingly
mark the cleanup script as done. This avoids the cleanup done flag being
     written in chroot situations
   * Create ESP directory from scripts/install instead
   * Purge EFI binaries from ESP for correct architecture
   * If system isn't running in EFI mode, don't install binary to ESP directory
   * Build DISTRIBUTOR into /usr/lib/fwupdate/install at build using
dpkg-vendor.
   * Modify postrm script: hardcode EFIDIR at build time, use
     DPKG_MAINTSCRIPT_ARCH
   * Remove empty directories during fwupdate cleanup (Closes: #810697)
   * Make builds reproducible by setting POT-Creation-Date from
debian/changelog.
   * Adjust fwupdate.postinst.in's upgrade part of the script to not use
lsb_release as well
   * Drop dependency on coreutils, it's in Essential
   * Add comments explaining the situation with signed vs unsigned binaries to
README.Debian
   * Fix a typo in debian/control
