Package: libsocket6-perl
Version: 0.19-1
Severity: important

new IO::Socket::INET6 (...) requires on this debian installation the option
>>LocalHost = "::"<< or for that matter any other IPv6 address otherwise it
always defaults to IPv4 0.0.0.0. This is a debian specific issue - on all other
systems it default to "::" and only if that fails to "0.0.0.0".

Hi Thomas,

I'm closing this bug report because I think it has been fixed in
IO::Socket::INET6 for a while (version 2.65 in 2011 added a test
t/listen_port_only.t even).

If this was not the issue you were thinking of, please provide a more
detailed example how to reproduce the issue and/or detect that things
are not as they should be.

Florian
