I have this installed on a beige G3 running testing/unstable. The gamma
image in the "Monitor values" tab of Monitor Profiler, on the ppc
machine, is solid colour and does not adjust with the slider. Seems to
be functioning okay on the i386 machine.

There was no response from the original reporter. However, I had the latest
package tested by a Debian PPC user on a G4 system and he reported the bug
gone. So, I'm closing the report.
