Package: dotclear
Version: 2.7.5+dfsg-1
Severity: important

Since 2.7.5+dfsg-1 (but also in 2.8.0+dfsg-1), the included plugins are
limited
compared to upstream.

For example, here is the difference between debian sources and upstream
sources:
vdanjean@eyak:dotclear/2.8$ ls dotclear*/plugins
dotclear-2.8.0+dfsg/plugins:
aboutConfig akismet antispam blogroll blowupConfig fairTrackbacks
importExport maintenance pages pings tags themeEditor widgets

dotclear/plugins:
aboutConfig antispam blogroll breadcrumb dclegacy
fairTrackbacks maintenance pings tags userPref
akismet attachments blowupConfig dcCKEditor dcLegacyEditor
importExport pages simpleMenu themeEditor widgets

If some non essential plugins are missing, it is not a big deal, at most
inconvenient.
But dcCKEditor/dclegacy/dcLegacyEditor are the plugins that provide a way to
write
blog entries (else, only plain text can be entered, with no edition bar and no
"Text formatting" choices proposed).
It seems to me that this is an error when repacking the upstream source
tarball.
But, if the removing of theses plugins comes from DSFG requirement, alternative
solutions must be found.

As a workaround, I just copy missing upstream plugins into
/var/lib/dotclear/web/plugins/
and, once enabled, it works perfectly.
Note that, due to the fact that some of these plugins must be enabled, perhaps
some action will be required for a smooth upgrade from jessie.

  Regards,
    Vincent
